MVS Engineering one of the oldest nitrogen gas plant suppliers in India. MVS nitrogen gas generator are widely used across many industries across the world. MVS Engineering recently supplied two PSA Nitrogen plants to one of India’s largest cable Manufacturer with manufacturing facilities in Pune and Goa. MVS has supplied 25-Nitrogen Plants for CCV application to several countries in Asia and Middle-East. Our Nitrogen Dry Curing value package provides a nitrogen supply and the necessary equipment for the dry curing process. The nitrogen atmosphere is the correct solution for cable materials which are sensitive to oxygen and moisture. What MVS Provides:
Product quality is ensured with the Nitrogen Dry Curing process. Versatility of the line is extended to include production of cables which require a dry curing atmosphere.
Cables can be cured without the presence of oxygen and moisture.
Customer procured PSA Nitrogen Gas Plants from MVS of following specifications:
Technology : PSA Technology Application : CCV process (Cable curing process) Process: Many years ago, steam was used for curing process of electrical cables. However, in the late 1990’s, the steam curing process was replaced in by dry Nitrogen gas and under Nitrogen curing now worldwide thousands of curing lines are being operated and HT cables are being manufactured. The curing process needs continuous Nitrogen at 12 to 18-Bar pressure. MVS has successfully supplied high pressure Nitrogen generators for these requirements. From a on-site Nitrogen generator, Nitrogen is produced at 5 to 7 bar pressure and thereafter Nitrogen pressure is boosted by a Booster compressor to 25 bar pressure and Nitrogen is stored in high pressure tanks. Then Nitrogen from Storage tank is used in curing line through an Automatic Pressure reducing valve. Nitrogen storage tanks take care of fluctuating Nitrogen demand and also very high Nitrogen flow required during curing line start-up when large quantity of Nitrogen used in a very short time for purging.
In such application, Nitrogen purity of 99.9% is used. Nitrogen dew point is around (-) 60°C for achieving better insulation properties.
